Job summary

Center for Family Services is seeking a part-time License Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC) Supervisor to oversee licensed Masters level staff pursuing LCADC and ADC Interns pursuing CADC. This in-person clinical supervisory role involves 8–10 hours of supervision weekly and oversight of the CareLogic documentation.

The ideal candidate has NJ LCADC/CCS credentials, strong leadership, and excellent judgment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of post-certification clinical experience in the substance use disorder field.
• Deep familiarity with ASAM criteria, New Jersey administrative codes, and evidence-based practices.
• NJ Certification as Alcohol/Drug Counselor required.
• Clinical Supervisors Certificate (CCS) required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides 8-10 hours of one-on-one and group supervision for substance use staff.
• Train and monitor interns in the core functions of substance use counseling.
• Provide clinical supervision in-person.
• Review and sign clinical notes in CareLogic within 48 hours.
• Sign off on staff CADC/LCADC licensure applications.
• Collaborate on staff evaluations and QA/PI plan.
