Job summary

Kokua Education is seeking substitute teachers for the 2026-27 school year in the Denver area. You can set your own schedule, work up to 5 days/week, and make a real difference in students’ lives.

You’ll earn up to $220 per day with weekly pay; daily positions range $170-200 and long-term positions $187-220, depending on experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant work may be considered; background checks are reimbursed after 10 assignments.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
• Feel confident managing a classroom of students.
• Are willing to step in where needed—lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season.
