Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional attitude toward confidential information.
• Be familiar with the current IEP and its implementation.
• Assist student(s) in meeting daily living needs.
• Assist with student's academic needs as determined by the IEP and teacher direction.
• Assist the identified student during individual and small group instruction.
• Assist the classroom instructor with disaster drills, field trips, and conferences.
• Seek assistance from supervisor or special education coordinator as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building principal or special education coordinator.
