Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities; provide one-on-one or small group support.
• Work with students with special needs, implementing IEP-related tasks and behavior plans.
• Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks; ensure safety.
• Implement behavior management strategies in line with school guidelines; de-escalate conflicts.
• Assist in maintaining attendance and progress records; perform clerical tasks and organize materials.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school staff; report concerns to teachers or administration.
• Be prepared to work in various classrooms and settings; follow instructions from teachers and staff.
