Job summary

Health Fitness Corporation seeks a part‑time Lifeguard (substitute) in Cincinnati, OH. You will monitor pool safety, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and perform routine water chemistry tests to ensure a welcoming, secure environment for guests.

The role requires Lifeguard certification with CPR/AED and First Aid, strong customer service, and basic computer skills. Training and development are provided; compensation is $12–$13 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety and well‑being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce rules and guidance as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies on site.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times daily.
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with towel folding, cleaning, filling water machines, and inspecting the Aquatics Facility for safety.
• Maintain a professional attitude and approach in all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
