Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Lifeguard to join the aquatics team at our corporate client site in Anna, Ohio. This is an on-call/substitute position, providing coverage on an as-needed basis when regular lifeguards are unavailable.

In this role, you\'ll play a vital part in ensuring the safety of participants, responding to emergencies, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting a positive and enjoyable aquatic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• Dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Fold towels, clean, fill water machines and inspect the Aquatics Facility to ensure a safe environment for members.
