The Austin Centers For Exceptional Students in Westminster, CO seeks a dedicated school bus driver to transport students on scheduled routes and field trips, ensuring safe loading/unloading and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, documenting mileage, communicating with parents and staff, and providing first aid as needed. This on-site role supports students with emotional, intellectual and learning disabilities across our campuses.

Qualifications

• Requires first aid/CPR certification and a valid school bus license.
• Must be able to read maps, follow routes and schedules accurately.
• Strong safety practices and ability to respond to incidents calmly.
• Ability to communicate with parents, students, teachers and dispatchers in English.

Responsibilities

• Transport students on scheduled routes and field trips in a safe, timely manner.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle condition.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and interior safety.
• Fuels and maintains assigned vehicles and documents mileage/condition reports.
• Provide first aid as necessary and monitor student safety during transit.
