Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Part Time Student to support Technical Information Innovation and Strategy in Ames, IA or Urbandale, IA. The role focuses on creating and publishing technical content using Adobe tools and AI-assisted processes while coordinating with engineers, product teams, and content specialists.

The position is onsite and designed for students balancing coursework. You will gain exposure to global standups, cross-functional collaboration, and a comprehensive rewards package

• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Available to work 16–20 hours/week during the academic year.
• Available to work 35–40 hours/week during the summer semester.
• Must be able to commute to Urbandale, IA on a semi-regular basis.

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

• Utilize Adobe platforms (such as Adobe Editor and InDesign) to create, structure, and publish technical information matched to Precision Technologies
• Participate in weekly global standup meetings and deliver progress reports as needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and content teams to gather requirements and deliver clear, accurate documentation
• Apply familiarity with artificial intelligence tools to accelerate content creation, review, and continuous improvement of technical information

This position is available to students on immigration visas.

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Business, Science, Technical Writing, AI, Software, Data, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Agriculture
