Indiana University Bloomington's Student Academic Center invites applications for Teaching Interns in EDUC-X156 College and Life Long Learning. Interns assist as academic coaching in the in-person class, with weekly leadership responsibilities.
Education: currently enrolled student at IU. Requirements: proficient communication, ability to use a computer, and physical capability to move up to 25 pounds. Location: Bloomington, IN; schedule: 10 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.
STUDENT ACADEMIC CENTER (BL-SACR-IUBLA)
The Student Academic Center offers a variety of courses designed to promote students' academic success at the university. All carry credit from the School of Education that can be applied as electives in most degree programs.
Teaching Interns for EDUC-X156 College and Life Long Learning are assistants in the "Academic Coaching" class at the Student Academic Center. Interns have weekly leadership responsibilities in the X156 class.
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

This is an in-person position.
$15.00 per hour
This position is 10 hours per week. Full weekly training will be provided.
