Job summary

Boys & Girls Club Of Portage County in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a part-time Student Success Coordinator to support middle and high school students through the GPS Mentoring Program.

You will mentor individual students, coordinate with families and school staff, monitor attendance and progress, and help develop engaging, outcome-driven activities. This role emphasizes relationship-building, advocacy, and data-driven reporting to improve graduation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may vary throughout the school year.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or Experience in mentoring, education, youth development, social services, counseling, or case management.

Responsibilities

• Develop mentor-mentee relationships with referred students to reduce truancy and support academic performance.
• Coordinate with families, school staff, and community partners to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, grades, and overall student progress; document activities and outcomes.
• Meet regularly with students through one-on-one and small-group mentoring sessions; set goals and develop life skills.
