Boys & Girls Club Of Portage County is looking for an Education Program Coordinator to develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging educational programs that help youth achieve academic success and personal growth. The role emphasizes creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment while building positive relationships with youth, families, volunteers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with youth in educational, recreational, after-school, or community programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively supervise and engage groups of youth.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement educational programs, services, and activities that prepare youth for success.
• Recruit Club members into education programs and encourage active participation.
• Develop engaging learning opportunities that support academic achievement and personal development.
• Submit biweekly schedules outlining daily program activities to the Center Director.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations and adjustments based on member needs and program goals.
