Job summary

Atlanta Metropolitan State College in Southwest Atlanta seeks a Part-time Student Success Coordinator for the Laker Trailblazer Program. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Masters preferred) and at least one year of experience.
• Experience with undergraduate students or young adults in tutorial, coaching, academic, retention, or career services counseling capacity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Laker Trailblazer students persist and access tutorial support services based on early alerts and assigned cohorts.
• Provide solutions for barriers to persistence and degree completion.
• Collaborate with CAASS Executive Director to reach targets in Student Success.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders aligned with Student Success.
• Facilitate academic support services, workshops, and consultative services to help students succeed academically.
• Provide academic coaching and outreach to students identified within a special population and connect them with discipline-specific study materials.
