Job summary

The University of Indianapolis is seeking a Part-time Student Success Coordinator to support engineering and math cohorts within the AMP program. The role involves coordinating activities, communications, and events for AMP Scholars and mentors, with an emphasis on first-year student success.

Responsibilities include recruitment, survey administration, event planning, and collaboration with faculty and UIndy communications. This is a grant-funded position that supports student outcomes on campus.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working directly with high school students and/or early college students.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMSs) or similar.
• Experience mentoring peer groups in an experiential educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting for the AMP program at outreach events, school visits, or campus visits.
• Oversee group communications and facilitate cohort activities.
• Communicate with AMP Scholars and mentors through in-person meetings or AMP Scholars Google Chat channel.
• Create and administer surveys.
• Assist with planning AMP student/faculty introductions.
• Support the Math Success Camp prior to classes in August.
• Assist with intro STEM courses and track participation and GPA requirements.
• Support AMP events, including career fairs and local conference travel.
• Contribute to publicity and social media in coordination with communications.
