Job summary

White Mountains Community College in Littleton is seeking a part-time Student Success Center Assistant for the Littleton Academic Center. The role supports students with academic coaching, proctoring, and learning IT platforms like Canvas and Navigate, reporting to the Academic Success Coordinator.

Hours up to 25 per week, Monday-Thursday 9 AM–3:45 PM; pay range $23.28–$25.95/hour. Associates or Bachelor's degree with teaching/advising experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor degree required.
• Experience: 3 years in teaching/coaching; 1 year with relevant role.
• License/Certification: None.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic support services to students, such as assessing student needs, developing success plans, academic coaching, and proctoring at the Littleton Academic Center and via Zoom.
• Teaches students study skills and uses relevant technology and research tools.
• Assists students with learning and using Canvas and Navigate.
• Connects students with accessibility services and other resources as needed.
• Supports Academic Success Coordinator in outreach to students in need.
• Attends SSC staff meetings, orientation, and other college meetings as necessary.
• Supports SSC duties and projects during downtime in the center.
• Complies with college, system, state, and federal rules and regulations.

Three years of experience as a teacher

Education

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
