Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks a part-time Academic Coaching Program Manager to support student success at the Bethlehem Campus Learning Center. The role involves recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and mentoring academic coaches, with duties spanning in-person and online tutoring, goal setting, and study skill development.

The manager reports to the Learning Center director and helps implement center initiatives, starting around October 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and a master's degree preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Knowledge of tutoring and academic coaching pedagogy.
• Experience in higher education or equivalent academic environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise and mentor academic coaches.
• Utilize tutor scheduling software (WC Online).
• Contribute to center and program initiatives.
• Provide academic coaching to Bethlehem Campus and online students.
• Collaborate with Learning Center team and director.
