Job summary

Lewis & Clark College is seeking a Student Philanthropy Officer to join the Phonathon program. You will act as a fundraising ambassador, focusing on leadership gifts of $500+ and managing a donor portfolio to strengthen engagement with the college.

The role requires at least one semester of Phonathon Ambassador experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Phonathon or student fundraising helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain donor confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Make calls 2 shifts per week to alumni/parents for Annual Fund gifts (leadership gifts $500+).
• Maintain donor records with detailed contact reports and follow-ups.
• Develop direct mail/email campaigns and outreach content for leadership donors.
• Plan Phonathon Career Workshop and Thank a Donor Day events.
• Assist with training, recruitment, and retention of Phonathon Ambassadors.
