Job summary

SUNY Niagara is seeking a Part-Time Case Manager for the Liberty Partnership Program. Responsibilities include outreach, assessments, activities planning, academic assistance, and evaluating student needs. Work up to 28 hours per week, schedule 8:00-4:30 Monday-Thursday with paid planning time.

The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or 30 college credits, at least two years in an educational setting, and a valid driver’s license. A Bachelor's degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or a minimum of 30 college credit hours earned towards a Bachelors degree.
• A minimum of two (2) years of paid professional experience working in an educational setting.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Bachelor’s Degree is desirable; two (2) years full-time paid experience with diverse population is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer program assessments. Use assessment data to drive programming to meet the needs of the student population.
• Provide academic instruction to assist students with homework completion in the various content subject areas.
• Design and implement lessons, activities, and trips for students according to grant guidelines.
• Plan, develop, and conduct workshops including financial literacy, career and college exploration, interviewing skills, resume building, effective communication, setting and achieving goals.
• Serve as a student advocate. Enhance collaborative relationships to maximize access to supportive services.
• Will work closely with partner school counselors to identify and case manage Liberty students.
