Job summary

Pacific University’s New School, Discovery: Innovation & Leadership is seeking a part-time NWS Member of School Student Advisory Team. Up to 4 positions per School, with a maximum of 5 hours per week, for 12 weeks per semester.

Math and design-informed engagement will help integrate student voices into cross-disciplinary school activities. The role pays $16.80 per hour and is open to current Pacific University students.

Qualifications

• Pacific University undergraduate student; Federal work-study funding preferred but not required.
• Able to manage and protect sensitive information in accordance with FERPA and university policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Students will work with their School Chair and Student Advisor to ensure student voices are integrated and cross-disciplinary collaboration is maintained.
• School advisory teams coordinate across schools to create cohesive experiences for students within the college; roles include communications lead, events lead, career & experiential learning lead, and creative lead.
