Job summary

Pacific University is seeking a Part Time NWS Member of School Student Advisory Team to support the Place, Planet & People initiative. The role is open to current Pacific University undergraduates and offers up to 5 hours per week for 12 weeks per semester.

You will work with the School Chair and Student Advisor to ensure student voices are integrated across schools, coordinate events, and act as a knowledge source for students, staff and faculty while handling confidential information per FERPA.

Qualifications

• Pacific University undergraduate student.
• Qualifies for federal work study funding for 2026-2027 academic year (preferred, but not required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Able to manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with FERPA regulations and Pacific University’s policies and procedures.
• Possesses good oral and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills including the ability to work with diverse populations of students, staff, faculty, and community members.
• Self-motivated.
• Serves as an information source to students, staff, faculty, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Work with School Chair and Student Advisor to ensure the school integrates student voices and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Coordinate and support school events and activities.
• Act as a communications lead or other leadership roles as needed within the advisory team.
