Job summary

The City of Midwest City is hiring a Part-Time Sign-Street Lighting Inspector & Auditor in the Street Department. You will inspect lighting, audit databases, and support sign inventory management. The job involves early morning or late evening driving and regular coordination with OG&E for outages.

Starting pay is $15.34 per hour with no benefits. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic data processing/clerical training; experience with spreadsheets and mapping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic data processing or clerical training is preferred.
• Experience with spreadsheets and mapping data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and audits street lighting databases.
• Conducts early morning or late evening driving audits of street lighting conditions.
• Communicates with electric utility to report outages and repairs.
• Evaluates night conditions of street signs and pavement markings.
• Prepares basic reports and data input for inventory management.
• Operates a motor vehicle as part of duties.
• Assists with record keeping and clerical tasks related to sign inventory.
• Perform other related duties as required.
