Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to support the management team, deliver the best customer experience, and maintain a visually appealing store. You will share responsibility for store operations and foster a positive environment that develops managers, associates, and customers daily.

You will perform POS transactions on designated shifts, learn all aspects of the business, and model our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a similar volume apparel setting is preferred.
• Track record of exceeding sales and meeting statistics.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team to achieve sales results and grow the business.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty.
• Be a role model to team members for the customer experience.
• Ensure store standards for merchandising and operations are met consistently.
• Be accountable for assigned tasks and results.
• Learn all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
• Create a great work environment with a positive and professional attitude.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute supervisor duties when the Store Manager is absent.
