Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Hickory, NC to help oversee daily store operations and customer service. You will supervise staff, train associates, and ensure efficient store performance while maintaining a friendly, safe environment.

The role focuses on merchandising, loss prevention, payroll/scheduling records, and upholding company standards. Part-time, on-site role at 2120 Highway 70 Se, Hickory, NC 28602-5162, with emphasis on teamwork and customer care.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records keeping including payroll and scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies; ensure associates follow policies and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
