Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in driving store execution and customer service. When the manager is away, you lead the staff, ensure opening and closing procedures are completed, and uphold store standards.

Core duties include supervising employees, assisting customers, merchandising, price tagging, stocking shelves, and maintaining confidentiality. Prior retail supervisory experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Experience as a retail supervisor is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the store staff when no manager is on site and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, and manage weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays.
• Reset departments following planograms and maintain off-shelf merchandise.
