Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals. This part-time role requires a reliable schedule and is based in Oxford, MI.

You will sort and price items, assist with stock, and support a team-focused environment with paid training and opportunities to develop retail skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous retail or thrift store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price donated merchandise.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Receive trucks and assist with loading/unloading and move product to departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.

Location: Oxford MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
