Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Part-Time Merchandise Manager in Columbus, GA to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead SOPs and company programs.
• Experience with planogram execution and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence and policy execution.
• Lead truck execution, unloading and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Support backroom organization, pricing changes, and promotions.
• Oversee Ship from Store, RTVs and ASN receiving, and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; support Asset Protection.
