Job summary

Claire's in Texas is seeking a part-time, non-exempt associate to drive sales, engage customers, and learn piercing techniques. You will maintain visual displays, handle inventory, and support store operations while delivering a fun, inclusive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include customer service, upselling, and brand representation, with emphasis on teamwork and self-expression. Flexible scheduling and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy with young or anxious customers.
• You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales.
• You completed some high school and have at least one year of retail management experience.
• You can stand during shifts and maneuver 11–35kg (25–75lbs).
• You can bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• You are passionate about helping customers express themselves daily.
• You are energized by interactions and strive to provide excellent service throughout visits.
• You align with values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
• You have strong verbal and written communication for customers, employees, and management.
• You have strong math skills for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling.
