Job summary

Doll ar Tree? Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development at our Abilene, TX location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, clean, and engaging shopping environment. The role requires strong communication, a background in retail management, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Retail or grocery management experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers and address questions or concerns
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Follow corporate directives and communicate store needs
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling
• Maintain clean, stocked store and secure assets
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates
• Ensure a positive and respectful environment
• Keep store clean and restocked (bathrooms, floors, stockroom)
• Other duties as assigned
