Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Lead Sales Associate for the Fairfield Ave store in Fort Wayne, IN. This role supports the store management team, handles daily retail operations, and delivers excellent customer service.

Pay is $14.50 per hour for 25 hours weekly, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Training is provided, and you’ll help with opening/closing procedures, banking, and merchandise rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English for effective communication.
• Basic computer skills including Point of Sales System and payroll program.
• Proficient cash handling and accurate change-giving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support management with product sales and acquisition.
• Implement store opening and closing procedures.
• Handle banking and daily deposits.
• Execute strategies to meet product acquisition, production and sales goals.
• Manage product rotation process and inventory turnover.
