Job summary

The Michael's Companies is seeking a part-time Store Environment Team Member at our Braintree, MA location. You will maintain a clean store, assist customers, handle checkout duties, and support omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Ideal candidates have basic retail experience and a proactive approach to cleaning and safety, while delivering friendly service aligned with our brand promises.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness, recovery standards, and handle cleaning duties (dusting, mopping, trash disposal).
• Assist customers, help them find items, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with standard cash handling.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Card enrollments; support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store processes.
• Stocking, truck unloading, and adherence to SOPs; participate in planogram (POG) processes and shrink/safety programs.
• Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers and project a professional image.
