Job summary

The Salvation Army store in Wheeling, WV seeks a part-time associate to assist customers with donations and purchases, operate the cash register, and maintain store displays. You will ensure the security of cash and records, prepare bank deposits, and provide helpful information to customers.

Responsibilities include pricing and tagging items, processing donations, and helping with loading/unloading as needed. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Retail store experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing items.
• Ring up sales, collect monies, count change, and prepare receipts.
• Prepare and balance cash drawer and run routine register print-outs.
