Job summary

The Salvation Army Augusta family store is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers, handle donations, and operate the cash register. This role involves maintaining clean displays, balancing the register, and providing friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Experience with cash registers preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales and handle cash, balance drawer.
• Assist with donations and loading/unloading areas; provide tax receipts.
• Maintain neat, stocked displays and store cleanliness.
• Answer questions and ensure a pleasant customer experience.
• Open/close store per schedule and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare deposits and maintain sales records and vouchers.
• Schedule donation pickups as needed.
