Job summary

The Salvation Army Alexander City Service Center is hiring for a part-time Store Associate with benefits. You will assist customers with donations, purchases, and inquiries, operate the cash register, and maintain a neat and secure sales floor.

You will also help price and sort donated items, prepare receipts, balance the cash drawer, and ensure excellent customer experiences in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience appreciated.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle sales transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items.
• Ring up sales, handle cash, and prepare receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store displays and cash area.
• Assist in receiving, sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items.
