Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Part Time Family Store Associate to deliver excellent customer service, operate the POS system, and maintain a clean and secure store environment. You will assist customers, process donations, balance the cash drawer, and help prepare deposits as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and retail experience is preferred. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and comfortable using basic computer applications and Microsoft Teams for

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Retail store experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers purchasing items via the POS system.
• Operate cash register, accept payments and make change.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with deposits as requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and security of the cash wrap area.
• Price unmarked merchandise and set up displays to promote sales.
• Assist donors and prepare items for donation processing.
• Answer phones professionally and provide courteous service.
• Ensure a clean, inviting store environment and secure register area.
