Job summary

Smart & Final in Fresno is seeking a Part-Time Associate to join our store operations team. You will support customers, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and help with carry-out services and cleaning as needed.

Starting at $16.90 per hour, you will report to the Store Manager and handle inventory, pricing accuracy, and basic store duties. The role emphasizes friendly service, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section, stock merchandise, price checks and display setup.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments and refunds when approved.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when needed.
• Perform basic store cleaning and sanitation per guidance.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
