Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking friendly part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers in Fort Walton Beach, FL. You will merchandise, stock shelves, handle cashier duties, and maintain a clean store to ensure an excellent shopping experience.

The positions offer starting pay of $18.00/hour with annual increases to $20.00/hour by Year 5, and a benefits package including retirement plans and employee programs. Availability and reliability are essential in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all established company policies and processes.
• Supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining equipment in proper working order.
• Maintains store zones standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and informs management of scanning concerns.
