Job summary

ALDI USA in DeFuniak Springs, FL is seeking enthusiastic part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers. You’ll merchandise, stock, cashier, and help keep the store clean to deliver a top-notch shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment including cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, and handheld devices.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage time and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service principles and escalate concerns to store management as necessary.
• Help store management achieve operational efficiency and total loss goals.
• Maintain store zones and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Operate the POS system to process purchases and manage checkout lines.
• Stock shelves and displays according to planograms and be prepared to start work as early as 5:00am.
