Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers in Buckeye, AZ. Roles include merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning to ensure an excellent customer experience. Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with scheduled increases over time.

Duties cover customer service, efficiency, loss prevention, policy compliance, safety and store upkeep. Flexibility with early morning shifts is required for stockers.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, etc.
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic tasks (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Organize, prioritize and complete tasks to maximize productivity.
• Maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all established company policies and processes.
• Supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Maintains store zones standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Properly utilizes the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following planograms; early shifts may be required.
