Job summary

Smart & Final is hiring a Part-time Associate for Store 451 in San Jose. You will help run daily store operations, stock merchandise, operate the cash register, provide friendly customer service, and assist customers to their vehicles when needed.

Qualifications

• Read and write English, interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly to customers and employees.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section, stock merchandise, and set up advertising displays.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Assist customers and load purchases into vehicles when needed.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and responsibility for store cleanliness.
