Job summary

Hy-Vee in Mission, KS is seeking a part-time Store Accounting Coordinator to help keep store finances accurate. You will be responsible for daily cash accountability, deposits, reconciliations, and supporting accounts payable and receivable processes.

You will also assist with payroll preparation, invoicing, EFTs, and payroll reporting, while maintaining confidentiality and strong internal controls. This role requires attention to detail and reliable teamwork in a store office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic with fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash accountability, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll preparation.
• Prepare reports, payroll, and payments, ensuring accuracy and security.
• Assist in invoices, EFTs, and store-level financial tasks.
• Provide friendly customer service and maintain confidentiality.
