Job summary

Baltimore City Government is seeking a Part-time STEM/STEAM Program Designer to develop curricula and lead Rec2Tech activities. You will design courses aligned to pathways, prepare syllabi, and train staff for successful program delivery.

The role requires teaching experience with K-12 or adults, curriculum development skills, and the ability to work with diverse learners. BCRP supports a STEM/STEAM initiative across recreation centers in Baltimore City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or STEM/STEAM or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing programs or curriculum for K-12 or adults is a plus.
• Bi-lingual candidates encouraged; equivalent combinations accepted.

Responsibilities

• Content development: create curricula and lessons aligned to Rec2Tech pathways.
• Deliver and supervise 10-20 hour courses, adapt to diverse learners.
• Submit syllabi and tracking, assist with staff training and recruitment.
