Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo is seeking a part-time STEM Instructor to create an engaging, hands-on learning environment for middle school youth. The role emphasizes project-based STEM activities, coding, robotics, and maker projects to build curiosity and skills.

Responsibilities include leading daily STEM programming, planning structured lessons, and promoting teamwork, problem-solving, and career awareness in science and technology. Clubhouse location; afternoons and summers included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM preferred or pursuing degree in STEM field.
• Knowledge or background in STEM and programming.
• Proficiency with common PC software and educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging STEM programming for middle school youth.
• Lead hands-on experiments, engineering design challenges, coding activities, robotics, and 3D design projects.
• Conduct weekly STEM clubs on Robotics, Coding, Engineering, Environment, Digital Media, and more.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning styles and foster inclusive participation.
• Track participation and learning outcomes; prepare members for STEM showcases.
