Peter Paul’s Coleman Center is seeking a Lead Teacher for after-school programs serving grades 4-12. You will develop lesson plans with project-based learning and STEAM, oversee a safe, high-quality student experience, and collaborate with staff to implement daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a child-related field or higher is preferred.
• Early childhood certificate or credentials are strongly considered.
• Montessori or related teaching credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom culture that encourages group thinking, curiosity and discovery.
• Collaborate with staff to design daily lesson plans and activities.
• Implement daily expectations and behavior system.
• Engage students and maintain total classroom engagement.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and daytime teachers regularly.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in planning committees.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development.
