Qualifications

• Ability to memorize and accurately replicate case details, symptoms and cues.
• Comfortable undergoing non-invasive physical examinations by health professional students.
• Acting or role-playing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately portray specific patient cases, roles, and scenarios following training.
• Simulate all aspects of a patient scenario, including medical history and behavior.
• Prepare for simulations by studying case materials prior to encounters.
• Demonstrate and evaluate history-taking and interviewing skills with learners.
• Complete checklists and performance evaluations of student interactions.
• Accept feedback to refine portrayals and assessment accuracy.
• Maintain objectivity and confidentiality regarding student performance and materials.
• Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in training sessions.
