Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and process prescriptions at the NCSS location in St. Albans City, VT. The onsite role schedules 16 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in Vermont.
• Certified immunizer or willingness to become one within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant Vermont State Board of Pharmacy laws.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by the State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
