Metropolitan Community College (MCC) is seeking a Motorcycle Safety Range Aide to support instructors and maintain a safe learning environment at the Maple Woods Campus. Job Summary

POOL POSITION

The Motorcycle Safety Range Aide assists instructors with non-instructional activities in the Motorcycle Safety Program. The position supports a safe and efficient learning environment by helping set up the training range, maintaining motorcycles, and assisting with class logistics.

This is a part-time, hourly staff position located at the Maple Woods Campus.

Essential Functions

• Assist instructors with retrieving and storing motorcycles before and after classes.
• Set up and organize the training range between exercises in various weather conditions.
• Provide assistance to ensure smooth transitions between exercises during range sessions.
• Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on motorcycles as directed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support program operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least six (6) months of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional related experience or training in motorcycle safety, mechanical work, or technical assistance will be considered.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds continuously.

Work performed outdoors in a range of weather conditions and around mechanical equipment.

Environmental Conditions

• Mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, and noise.
• Extreme temperatures and other outdoor environmental conditions.
