Job summary

Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Motorcycle Range Aide to assist the MSF Rider Coach during range instruction. This non-credit, part-time role supports range setup, fleet maintenance records, and demonstrations as needed.

Weekend shifts from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm are required; weekday mornings are a plus but not required. A valid driver’s license with Motorcycle M endorsement is required, plus stamina to stand six hours and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and Motorcycle “M” endorsement.
• Physically able to stand for 6 hours and carry/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, rotate, kneel and handle vehicle/driving gear.
• Must have manual dexterity for operation of equipment and tools.
• Must be able to hear/speak over noise during motorcycle instruction.
• Must tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist MSF Rider Coach with range instruction and demonstrations.
• Set up range instruction exercises and organize garage storage.
• Maintain fleet maintenance records in the system.
• Support on-range demonstrations as needed.
