Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs Parks & Recreation Department is hiring an Athletic Aide. This part-time, non-benefited position supports youth and adult sports leagues, tournaments, and facility rentals. Flexible schedule includes evenings and weekends, up to 25 hours per week.

Hiring range is $9 to $11 per hour. Responsibilities include keeping score, assisting with event management, and communicating professionally with coaches, spectators and officials.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills with players, coaches, and the public.
• Knowledge of local sports rules is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Keep score for adult and youth sports leagues.
• Handle disputes professionally.
• Ensure accuracy in accident and incident reports.
• Collect and organize results and related paperwork.
• Communicate with coaches, spectators and officials.
• Enforce department policies.
• Provide information on policies and services.
• Perform other tasks as required.
