Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Billings, MT seeks a capable equipment maintenance technician to diagnose and repair store equipment, including bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, and other merchandise.

You will follow safety procedures, review manuals, and work flexible hours between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday through Saturday with Sunday hours. A clean driver's license and willingness to obtain DOT certification are required; mechanical knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must possess a clean, valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain DOT certification and meet Scheels driving standards.
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and provide maintenance and assembly of customer and store equipment. Equipment may involve bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, skis, hockey skates and sticks, baseball gloves and bats, golf clubs, racquet sports, archery arrows, paintball markers, and other merchandise in a Scheels Store
• Order and follow up with vendors for repair parts
• Safely fill CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment
• Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise at the store and to customer residences
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Must be flexible to work assigned schedules between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 11 am and 6 pm on Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
