TemPositions Group of Companies is assisting a San Francisco service agency to hire a Speech Therapist for an Adult Day Health Center serving Russian-speaking seniors and adults with disabilities.

The role involves evaluating participants, creating care plans, educating families, and training staff within a culturally sensitive environment. Licensed California Speech Therapist with Russian proficiency is required, along with strict compliance to Title 22 regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Therapist by the Medical Board of California.
• Conversational proficiency in Russian to communicate with this specific participant population.
• Experience providing speech therapy to older adults and/or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of Title 22 regulations related to ADHC settings.
• Physical capacity to assist frail elderly or disabled adults as needed.
• Must pass a Physical Exam and TB Screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and periodic reassessments (every six months) for referred participants.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based, person-centered speech therapy plans.
• Educate family members and caregivers on managing speech and communication challenges.
• Train ADHC staff on therapy-related strategies to incorporate into daily routines.
• Maintain detailed and compliant components of participant health records.
• Work closely with the MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) to ensure therapy meets program goals.
