Job summary

TemPositions is partnering with a San Francisco nonprofit to hire a part-time Physical Therapist to support an Adult Day Health Center serving Russian-speaking older adults and individuals with disabilities. You will deliver individualized plans and restorative therapy to maximize independence in a community setting.

The role requires CA PT license, degree, 2+ years in elder care, BLS, and proficiency with EHR.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy License required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with frail or older adults.
• Current BLS and First Aid Certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and six-month physical therapy assessments and update care plans.
• Design restorative and maintenance programs in compliance with Title 22 and CBAS regulations.
• Provide therapy interventions including gait training, pain relief, and mobility support.
• Document assessments and progress notes in the EHR accurately.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote holistic health.
• Train staff on maintenance exercise programs and safety practices.
